Saddle up and put on your dancing boots because it's time to kick up some dust at the Stables at the Rio Grande for our Town Barn Dances!
June 26 • July 31 • August 28
Square Dance • Contra-Dance • Two-Step • Social Dances • More!
Did you know that the Square Dance is the official dance of Colorado? Get ready to do-si-do and allemande left as we celebrate and embrace this iconic dance form alongside other social folk and line dances. And who knows, we might even throw in a two-step or two for good measure!
Leading the charge is a lineup of acclaimed Colorado traditional country & bluegrass musicians, including in-demand dance caller/fiddler Andrea Earley-Coen, with KC Groves on bass, Donny Chavez on guitar, and Creede's very own Avery Augur on banjo. Together, they'll keep the barn rocking all night long with toe-tapping tunes and infectious rhythms.
This event is for everyone, regardless of age or experience level. We'll kick things off with a brief informational social dance lesson/refresher to get everyone on their feet and ready to join in the fun. So whether you're a seasoned square dancer or a first-time hoedowner, grab your people and come on down for a night of music, laughter, and unforgettable memories.
Don't miss out on the hottest hoedown in town! Grab your cowboy hat and join us for a rip-roaring good time at the Town Barn Dance Hoedown. Yeehaw! 🎻👢
